In a follow-up to its previous consultation, the Federal Institute of Telecommunication (IFT) has opened a new consultation on the technical requirements for unlicensed use of the band 5.925 – 7.125 GHz. IFT have proposed:
- 5925-7125 MHz: Low Power Indoor devices
- Access Points at 30dBm (5dBm/MHz)
- Client Devices at 24dBm (-1dBm/MHz)
- 5925-7125MHz: Very Low Power Devices (operated indoors and outdoors) at 14dBm (1dBm/MHz)
