ACMA has announced that they will start accepting applications for millimeter wave spectrum in the 26 and 28 GHz bands from November 4, 2020. This initial opening is for area-wide apparatus licenses (AWLs). Further details can be found here.
At a later time ACMA plans to consider class licenses for “ubiquitous low power devices” in these bands.
