MIC has released new draft technical regulations for devices operating in the 2.4GHz band (QCVN 54:2020/BTTTT) and short-range devices operating in the 1 – 40 GHz range (QCVN 74:2020/BTTTT).
New approvals and renewals will need to demonstrate compliance to these new standards when they come into force, anticipated to be July 2021. A new MIC circular adopting these standards and fixing the enforcement date is expected by April 2021.
