Brazil – Updates to Regulations for restricted radiation devices (Short Range Devices)

Anatel has published  Resolution 726 of May 5, 2020. This modifies Resolution 680 of June 27, 2017 and is related to the regulation of Restricted Radiation Radiocommunication Equipment (short range devices). This resolution:

    • Repeals article 9 of Resolution 680 – requirements that were specific to WLAN use of the bands 5150-5350 MHz
    • Replaces Table I – list of radio bands that have usage restrictions
    • Replaces Table in Annex I – radio frequency bands with alternative emission limits

This resolution enters into force on September 1, 2020.
