The Federal Institute of Telecommunication (IFETEL) has issued the technical provision IFT-011-2017 Part 2 pertaining to the mobile terminal equipment. This states that cellular devices will require in-country testing and will only affect new type approval applications with effect from 3 Apr 2018.
