The Radio Authority of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (CMIIT) has issued a new draft “Technical Requirements for Micropower (Short Range) Radio Equipment” on 15 Jan 2018. The primary change in this draft is to add Bluetooth and Wireless LAN equipment operating in 2400-2483.5 MHz and 5725-5850 MHz (with power 25mW EIRP or below), into the list of short range devices that are exempted from type approval.
