Chile – New Resolution covering rules for Short Range Devices

Chile has released Resolution 1985 which covers the technical requirements for unlicensed short-range devices. This replaces the previous rules in Resolution 755.

No major changes affecting WLAN or Bluetooth devices are noted in the new resolution. The fact that Resolution 755 had undergone many changes and amendments since its original publication in 2005, has prompted SUBTEL to reissue these rules under a new cleaner reading text.
