The Cayman Islands telecom regulator (OfReg) has announced that Type Approval is now required for devices sold there.
Previously FCC approved devices were allowed in the islands without further actions. However, OfReg does not intend to have its own Type Approval standards and in most cases will accept evidence of FCC approval to support applications.
