Argentina – New Standard for Low Power Devices

argentinaENACOM has recently published an update to rules applicable to approval of Low Power Devices (LPDs). This Technical Standard replaces ENACOM-Q2-60.14 V16.1 with ENACOM-Q2-60.14 V17.1. This applies to LPDs such as Alarms and motion detectors, remotes, Wireless Audio Devices, RFID, medical implants and telemetry systems.

ENACOM have incorporated the changes made from the latest resolutions into the new standard and modified the maximum power allowed for the 433MHz band.

  • Maximum output power of 401-406 MHz band to: 18.260 μV/m @ 3m
  • Maximum output power of 433,075-434,775 MHz band to: 366.000 μV/m @ 3m
  • Addition of UWB bands (3.100-10-600 MHz) into this standard
  • Correction of limits of 22GHz bands to: 22.000-26.650 MHz
