IMDA in Singapore has published new draft Technical Specifications for Cellular Mobile Terminals and Cellular Base Station and Repeater Systems.

Revision of the Technical Specification for Cellular Mobile Terminal (IMDA TS CMT Issue 1)
Draft IMDA Technical Specification for CMT Issue 1 Rev 1
As shown in Annex B of the Draft IMDA TS CMT Issue 1 Rev 1, proposed changes include:
- Support for LTE-Advanced TDD RIT (E-UTRAN RAT)
- Use of E-UTRAN band 38 (2570 MHz – 2615 MHz) and band 40 (2300 MHz – 2340 MHz)
- CMT safety testing performed to the IEC 60950-1 safety standard

Draft IMDA Technical Specification for CBS Issue 1 Rev 1
As shown in Annex B of the Draft IMDA TS CBS Issue 1 Rev 1, proposed changes include:
- Support for LTE-Advanced TDD RIT (E-UTRAN RAT)
- Use of E-UTRAN band 38 (2570 MHz – 2615 MHz) and band 40 (2300 MHz – 2340 MHz)
- Revision of Checklist for clarity of requirements in supporting LTE-Advanced TDD RIT (E-UTRAN RAT)
