IFETEL in Mexico have recently completed announced a new spectrum allocation for devices operating in the band 57-64GHz as a result of their consultation at the end of 2016.
This allocation is suitable for IEEE 802.11ad or WiGig devices and consequently type approval applications can now be made for devices operating in this band (acceptance of applications was previously suspended).
