Japan – Proposed Ordinance for Private Digital Cordless Phone System

Japan has proposed an amendment to its ordinance for the Regulations for Radio Equipment. This is to amend the regulations related to the “Private Digital Codeless Phone system” for the introduction of the sXGP (shared eXtended Global Platform) system which is an adaptation of international standards for cellular phone such as TD-LTE (Log Term Evolution). These devices would operate in the 1.9GHz band.
