In 2016, the Construction and Mining Equipment Industry Group (CMEIG) and the Tractor and Machinery Association (TMA) wrote to the ACMA and requested an amendment to the Radiocommunications (Compliance Labelling – Devices) Notice 2014 (Radiocommunications Labelling Notice) and the Radiocommunications (Compliance Labelling – Electromagnetic Radiation) Notice 2014 (EME Labelling Notice) to exempt members of CMEIG and TMA from the requirement to label a device they supplied.
The ACMA is seeking public comment on the proposal to amend the:
- EME Labelling Notice, to exempt FCAI, CMEIG and TMA members from the labelling requirements of that notice
- Radiocommunications Labelling Notice, to exempt CMEIG and TMA members from the labelling requirements of that notice.
