The Office of the Communications Authority (OFCA) have completed the rule changes that allow automotive radars operating in the 77-81GHz band under a Class Licence. This would allow the operation of such devices without the need for end user licensing or spectrum use fees.Technical rules for such devices are defined in the standard HKCA1075.
