The Telecom Ministry in Azerbaijan has announced that product samples will be required for all new certification applications. The sample requirement was included in the existing Decision of the Cabinet Ministers (Decision 175 of 1998) covering product certification, but had not been implemented until now. Samples are also required for renewal or recertification.
