New Zealand has published a new Radiocommunications Regulations (General User Radio Licence for Ultra-Wide Band Devices) Notice 2017. This notice allows for the deployment of UWB devices in an outdoor environment provided that emissions are generally limited to below the horizontal plane (in-ground) in the bands 4.2 – 4.8GHz and 6.0 – 6.8GHz.
