NuZeal Guide – Transitioning to the Radio Equipment Directive (Update)

european_unionWe have revised our introduction to the RED that includes some of the important details that need to be considered when transitioning to this Directive. The RED replaces the R&TTE Directive and needs to be used for all products that fall within its scope before 13th June 2017.

Changes made in this update:

  • Now reflects the latest draft of the Implementing Act for Article 10(10) – notification of restrictions on placing into service, user packaging warnings
  • Common SRD standards – reflects that EN 300 328 is now a harmonized standard under the RED, and latest estimates for other standards.
