SUBTEL in Chile has amended Resolution 755 of 2005 to modify the bands allowed for WLAN operation
- Output power has been increased to 50mW for outdoor use (except 5150-5250MHz which is still restricted to indoor use only)
- The band 5470-5725MHz is now available (previously prohibited)
As before Chile will still accept foreign reports for type approval applications but requires a supplemental report or addendum if the radiated power exceeds the limit of 150mW.
