ETSI have just published a new version of EN300 328 (V2.1.1). This is important because it is expected to become a Harmonised Standard for wideband devices operating in the 2.4GHz band (includes WLAN and Bluetooth) for the Radio Equipment Directive (2014/53/EU). This new version comes slightly ahead of schedule and improves the forecast for its citation in the Official Journal of the European Union, giving it the status of Harmonised Standard. This is now expected to happen around mid-February 2017.
