On July 28, 2016 ANATEL formally updated the Technical Requirements for Category I devices in relation to mandatory IPv6 requirements (Category 1 devices includes mobile telephony devices). The IPv6 requirements for 3G devices originally set to start on August 1, 2016 were updated and the implementation date was postponed until January 1, 2017.
