{"id":2819,"date":"2022-08-01T16:22:23","date_gmt":"2022-08-01T23:22:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nuzeal.com\/?p=2819"},"modified":"2022-08-16T11:20:57","modified_gmt":"2022-08-16T18:20:57","slug":"new-zealand-regulation-update-for-short-range-devices-srd-3","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nuzeal.com\/index.php\/2022\/08\/01\/new-zealand-regulation-update-for-short-range-devices-srd-3\/","title":{"rendered":"New Zealand &#8211; Regulation update for Short Range Devices (SRD)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Radio Spectrum Management has published a revised version of the regulations for SRDs &#8211; <strong>Radiocommunications Regulations (General User Radio Licence for Short Range Devices) Notice 2022<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The changes in this version include:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ol style=\"list-style-type: lower-alpha;\">\n<li><strong>a change to 5150 \u2013 5350 MHz to clarify that TPC and DFS is only required for the 5250-5350 MHz portion.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>addition of a new range for WLAN in the 5925 &#8211; 6425 MHz band.<\/strong> It is now possible to operate in the following modes\n<ol style=\"list-style-type: lower-roman;\">\n<li>Indoor at a power of 24dBm EIRP<\/li>\n<li>Indoor\/Outdoor at a power of 14dBm EIRP<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li>60 GHz devices can now operate in the range 57 &#8211; 71 GHz (previously this was 57 &#8211; 66 GHz).
