The new regulation will specifically cover four types of charger:<\/p>\n<ol class=\"ili-indent\">\n<li>Mains powered chargers with a DC wired connection to the mobile<\/li>\n<li>Mains powered inductive (wireless) chargers<\/li>\n<li>Vehicle based wired chargers (from 12V or 24V DC supply)<\/li>\n<li>Vehicle based inductive (wireless) chargers<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Labeling of certified chargers is also a requirement, as with batteries used for mobile phones (Resolution 481).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Anatel has published Act No. 493 of 2017, which introduces certification requirements for mobile phone chargers.
