\"\"<\/a>The European Commission has published the Implementing Decision 2017\/1483 “amending Decision 2006\/771\/EC on harmonisation of the radio spectrum for use by short-range devices and repealing Decision 2006\/804\/EC”.<\/p>\n

This decision updates the table of harmonised technical conditions for a wide range of Short Range Devices originally published in Commission Decision 2006\/771\/EC.<\/p>\n

Some highlights of allocations for IoT, RFID and transportation applications, that have an implementation deadline of 1 January 2018 are listed here:<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

\nRFID interrogator devices placed on the market before the\u00a0 repeal date of EC Decision 2006\/804\/EC are \u201cgrandfathered\u201d, i.e. they are continuously permitted to be used in line with the\u00a0 provisions set out in EC Decision 2006\/804\/EC before the repeal date.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
