This resolution is now excluding medical devices working within 401-406 MHz range from the previous regulations covering low power devices.<\/p>\n<p>Previously, ENACOM treated these devices as \u201cLow Power Devices\u201d and now they are treated as \u201cMedical Devices to be used as part of a Radio Communication System for Medical Use\u201d. Some examples of affected devices are: implantable pacemakers, implantable defibrillators, nerve stimulators, insulin meters and pumps.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Technical parameters and main information:<\/p>\n<p>Band limits: 401 \u2013 406 MHz<\/p>\n<p>Bandwidth of emissions:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">401 \u2013 402 MHz: 100 kHz<br \/>\n402 \u2013 405 MHz: 300 kHz<br \/>\n405 \u2013 406 MHz: 100 kHz\n<\/p>\n<p>Allowed devices:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">401 &#8211; 402 MHz: Implantable, programmers and used in the body.<br \/>\n402 &#8211; 405 MHz: Implantable and programmers.<br \/>\n405 &#8211; 406 MHz: Implantable, programmers and used in the body.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ENACOM has published Resolution 4479-E\/2017 which includes a new standard named \u201cENACOM-Q2-60.15 V17.1\u201d.
