{"id":1411,"date":"2017-02-02T15:45:13","date_gmt":"2017-02-02T23:45:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nuzeal.com\/?p=1411"},"modified":"2017-02-02T15:45:13","modified_gmt":"2017-02-02T23:45:13","slug":"canada-updated-standard-for-zone-enhancers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nuzeal.com\/index.php\/2017\/02\/02\/canada-updated-standard-for-zone-enhancers\/","title":{"rendered":"Canada &#8211; Updated standard for Zone Enhancers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/nuzeal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/canada.png?ssl=1\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-840\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/nuzeal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/canada.png?resize=191%2C100&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" width=\"191\" height=\"100\" align=\"left\" \/><\/a>ISED has published RSS-131 Issue 3 to cover Zone Enhancer devices (used to increase signal strength of radio equipment used for particular radio services as listed in RSS-131).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Issue 3 of RSS-131 incorporates the following changes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>the title has been changed;<\/li>\n<li>material common to most RSS has been moved to RSS-Gen, General Requirements for Compliance of Radio Apparatus, and RSS-131 has been updated to reflect the current RSS format;<\/li>\n<li>the requirement that RSS-Gen be used in conjunction with this RSS is stated;<\/li>\n<li>the technical, labeling and user manual requirements for equipment certification have been updated<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>ISED have indicated that there is a six month transition period from the publication date of Issue 3 (19th January 2017) where Issue 2 or 3 can be used to demonstrate compliance.
